Military Subcaptain Kedron Tauceti counts the days until he can leave his present post in an important factory as liaison to the government’s quasi-prison system. All former financial specialist Ferra Barray has to do is keep her head down while she finishes her restitution sentence. Unfortunately, the local shark behind every illegal scheme in the factory wants her to steal for him, and she’s running out of excuses. And now the handsome Tauceti, her only protection, is transferring out. Everything changes when Ferra rescues two genetically modified cats and must convince Tauceti to take them with him. When trouble erupts in the factory, it might just be the cats who save them.
