Last Chance for Pets in Space 6

You may recall that I'm both an author in and the editor of Pets in Space 6. Therefore, I'm doubly-motivated to remind you that this fantastic (if I do say so myself) anthology is a limited edition. What does that mean? Well, several things, but to readers, it means this is your last chance for Pets in Space 6.

Pets in Space 6 Is Fleeting

Just like perishable treats such as fresh-caught fish, spring wine, and Key lime pie are best consumed right away, Pets in Space should be read immediately, too. 

More seriously, that short life span is one of the ways the anthologies attract bestselling and award-winning authors. If they write brand new, original stories for the anthology, they know they'll get their publication rights back quickly. Of course, it also helps that the authors are fun people who want to be where more fun people are. 😸

Last Chance

All good things must come to an end. Well, bad things, too, but that's a life-philosophy discussion for another day. 

In this case, that means Pets in Space 6 leaves the galaxy forever on 31 January 2022. 

If it seems like I'm over-communicating on this, my apologies. It's just that every year, I get more than a few plaintive emails asking where they can get previous Pets in Space anthologies. Sadly, I have to be the bearer of the bad news that the anthologies are no more. Sure, you can get most (but not all) of the stories from the authors—see the Pets in Space website—but you'll have to buy them individually. If you don't want this dreadful fate to happen to you…
